The Church altered the observance of the Sabbath to the observance of Sunday. Protestants must be rather puzzled by the keeping of Sunday when God distinctly said, 'Keep holy the Sabbath Day.' The word Sunday does not come anywhere in the Bible, so, without knowing it they are obeying the authority of the Catholic Church." Canon Cafferata, The Catechism Explained, p. 89. Cardinal Gibbons: "You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. Father Conway: "If the Bible is the only guide for the Christian then the Seventh-day Adventist is right in observing the Saturday with the Jew. Lutheran "The observance of the "Lord's Day "(Sunday, named by Pope Leo) is founded not on any command of God, but on the authority of the Church." Augsburg Confession of Faith. Congregational "It is clear that, however rigidly or devoutly we may spend Sunday, we are not keeping the Sabbath ... The Sabbath was founded on a specific divine command. We can plead no such command for the obligation to observe Sunday ... CHAMBERS ENCYCLOPEDIA: "Unquestionably the first law, either ecclesiastical or civil, by which the Sabbatical observance of Sunday is known to have been ordained, is the Sabbatical edict of Constantine, AD 321." Art. Sunday. The Catholic Church says: "There is no such law in the Bible. It is a law of the Holy Catholic Church alone. The Bible says 'Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.' The Catholic church says, "No, By my divine power I abolish the Sabbath day and command you to keep holy the first day of the week." And lo! The entire civilized world bows down in reverent obedience to the command of the Holy Catholic Church." Priest Thomas Enright, CSSR, President of Redemptorist College, Kansas City, Missouri, in a lecture at Hartford, Kansas, and printed in the American Sentinel, June 1883, a New York Roman Catholic journal. Conclusion "Hence, the conclusion is inevitable; namely that of those who follow the Bible as their guide, the Israelites, Seventh-day Adventists and the Churches of God have the exclusive weight of evidence on their side, whilst the Biblical Protestant has not a word in self defense for his substitution of Sunday for Saturday." Whom will you obey? God or the Catholic/Protestant Churches? In the Bible, God Says: "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy... the seventh day is the Sabbath" (4th Commandment of God) [Exodus 20:10-11] The definition of sin is the Breaking of GOD'S LAWS & COMMANDMENTS [1 JOHN 3:4] You shall have ONE MANNER OF LAW for the Israelite & the Gentile [LEV. 24:22] If you Love Me, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS [JOHN 14:15] You Break the Commandments & Laws of God for YOUR OWN TRADITIONS [MATT 15:3,6,8] But in VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME (JESUS), teaching the doctrines & commandments of man (not God's) [MATT 15:9] If you wish to enter into Eternal Life, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS [MATT 19:17] Whosoever says God is in him and Keeps NOT the commandments is a liar and the TRUTH is not in him [1 JOHN 2:4] We know that we know God, IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS [1 JOHN 2:3] Whosoever Keeps God's Commandments DWELLS in GOD & GOD IN him, through God's Holy Spirit [1 JOHN 3:24] For not the HEARERS of the Law are just before God, but the DOERS of the Law shall be justified [ROMANS 2:13] For this is how we Love God, when we KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS, AND HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT GRIEVOUS [1 JOHN 5:3] What then, do we BREAK the Laws of God because we're UNDER GRACE? 	Christ had already risen when the two Mary's arrived at His tomb at the end of the Sabbath BEFORE the beginning of the first day which started at sunset [MATT 28:1 & 6] To the Children that OBEY God's Commandments & Laws, He will grant Wisdom, Righteousness, Judgment & Understanding [PROVERBS 2:1-10 / 3:1-12] JESUS CHRIST was the ONE of the GOD FAMILY who gave Moses the Law and Led the Children of Israel through the desert [1 CORINTH 10:4 / JOHN 1:10,11 / HEBREW 1:2] For I shall make a NEW COVENANT with my children... I shall write MY LAWS in their hearts and in their minds [HEBREWS 8:10-13] Let ALL who name the name of CHRIST stop breaking the Laws of God [2 TIM 2:19] Not ALL who say LORD, LORD, will enter into the KINGDOM, but THOSE that OBEY THE WILL OF THE FATHER [MATT 7:21] MANY will say to ME in the day of MY RETURN, LORD, LORD, we cast out Demons, and did charity in your name, and I will tell them DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU WHO WERE WITHOUT GOD'S LAWS (INIQUITY- GRK. ANOMA'S), I NEVER KNEW YOU [MATT 7:22] Here is the patience of the SAINTS, those that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD & HAVE THE FAITH OF JESUS [REV. 14:12] Blessed are those that DO HIS COMMANDMENTS that they may have right to the Tree of (ETERNAL) Life and may enter in through the gates of the HOLY CITY [REV. 22:14] Christ said none of the Law was done away with and stands until heaven and earth pass away, and that we are not to break, or teach others to break the least of these [MATT 5:17-19] The Bible clearly shows that Christ and the Apostles Kept the Sabbath, and the 7 Annual Sabbaths (not the World's Holidays), Observed All the Commandments & Laws. After all, Christ (our role model & our Savior) was without sin (law breaking; transgression of God's Laws). It was the reason He came and died due to our breaking of God's Laws or our sin. Let's not take for granted God's wonderful grace (unmerited love and forgiveness) by confusing "Christian Liberty" from the death sentence Romans 6:23 with a LICENSE to continue to break GOD'S LAWS (sin - see [2 PETER 2:19-22]. "Ungodly men turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (Grk. aselgeia - permissiveness to willingly break God's laws as before baptism and conversion (see also: apostacy, [1 Peter 4:3]) whereby denying (rebelling against) God the Father Eternal and His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ." [Jude 1:4] The word REPENT means to change one's mind, heart and THEN actions. To Repent from Sin means to STOP BREAKING GOD'S LAWS, ALL OF THEM, AND start OBEYING THEM. True Living Faith is not SAYING, but instead, OBEYING & DOING - Not from FEAR (under the Law, in letter), but from LOVE (in Spirit & Truth [ROMANS 7:6] see [JAMES 2:17-24]). I ASK AGAIN, WHOM WILL YOU OBEY? GOD, THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE... OR MAN'S "TRADITIONS"?
